Press & Pull Quotes

A few favorites.

“Katrina Clark brings a mournful, elegiac quality to her portrayal of Mary, who moves through the space like an ethereal being, forever caught between life and death.”

“Katrina Clark most adroitly manages multiple roles...alternately narrating the tale, performing plays within the play, fiercely orating poetry, and throwing in the occasional wink to the audience...Through Clark’s insistent portrayal, the play’s conception of Mary Shelley as a genteel Goth girl who’s the true mad scientist, comes into view.”

“Mary Shelley herself appears portrayed with inscrutable composure by Katrina Clark.”

“Katrina Clark is an absolute standout as Lorna.”

“...chemistry with Katrina Clark’s Lorna was effortless.”

“Katrina Clark and Lisette Gabrielle bring elegance and palpable chemistry as innkeeper Lorna and Princess Sadie, respectively.”

“Clark’s Catherine is exhausted but explosive...Clark aptly exhibits an impressively versatile kaleidoscope of emotions.”

“As the gifted young woman, Katrina Clark is almost too perfect for the role...I was unfamiliar with and was enthralled by her intricately designed portrayal. Her physical insecurity and her attention to the text made the complex character simultaneously frustrating and sympathetic.”
